Charter Flights Information

We are here to support you when you need to fly home and we understand these situations can be difficult, as such Kenya airways offers you an opportunity to re-unite with your loved ones.

To minimise risk of covid-19 spread, we will not offer blankets, Headset, newspapers in Business Cabin and Blanket, headset in Economy Cabin. All guest are required to wear mask at all times and maintain social distance at the airport for all formalities (Check-in / Boarding etc).

Nairobi Eswatini Nairobi 27th September 2020

Requirements for Nairobi - Eswatini flight

  1. Flight to Eswatini is open to all returning Eswatini nationals and residents.
  2. All Guests are required to arrange for Covid-19 Test.
  3. Passengers may be subjected to the 14-28 days mandatory quarantine period imposed by the Government at their own cost in line with the Ministry of Health guidelines.
  4. COVID-19 free certificate is mandatory for boarding. Test certificate should be done latest 72 Hours to the flight departure date.
  5. A copy of COVID-19 medical results is required at the check-in counter and the results must be negative.
  6. All arrivals into the country will be subjected to mandatory government quarantine at a facility selected by the Ministry of Health and paid for by Government.
  7. The period of quarantine is determined by several factors including the result of blood and swab tests performed on arrival to test for COVID 19. This period however will not exceed 14 days from day of arrival and isolation.
Requirements for Eswatini - Nairobi flight
  1. COVID-19 free certificate is mandatory for boarding. Test certificate should be done latest 72 Hours to the flight departure date
  2. Guests are required to arrange for their own Covid-19 tests.
  3. Flight to Nairobi is open to all provided you have all the necessary documents to enter Kenya. Connecting Passengers MUST hold onward ticket and MUST be eligible to enter their destinations.
  4. A copy of covid-19 medical results is required at the check in counter and the results must be negative.
  5. Please ensure you travel with the COVID-19 Test Certificate and Declaration documents, you will require them on arrival in Kenya.
  6. All passengers must complete the Kenya Travelers Health Surveillance form online on/before arrival.
  7. Passengers may be subjected to the 14-28 days mandatory quarantine period imposed by the Government at their own cost in line with the Ministry of Health guidelines.

Nairobi - Johannesburg - Nairobi 27th September 2020

Requirements for Nairobi - Johannesburg flight

    1. COVID-19 free certificate in mandatory for boarding. Test certificate should be within 72hrs before flight departure date.
    2. All Guests are required to arrange for Covid-19 Test.
    3. Flight to Johannesburg is open to all returning South African residents.
    4. Non-South African passport holders must have pre-clearance and/or valid Residency/Work permits.
    5. Guest need to present medical test results at check in and must be negative.
    6. Passengers may be subjected to the 14-28 days mandatory quarantine period imposed by the Government at their own cost in line with the Ministry of Health guidelines.
    7. Please ensure you travel with the COVID-19 Test Certificate and Declaration documents, you will require them on arrival in South Africa.

Requirements for Johannesburg Nairobi flight

  1. COVID-19 free certificate is mandatory for boarding. Test certificate should be done latest 72 Hours to the flight departure date
  2. Guests are required to arrange for their own Covid-19 tests.
  3. Flight to Nairobi is open to all provided you have all the necessary documents to enter Kenya. Connecting Passengers MUST hold onward ticket and MUST be eligible to enter their destinations.
