Resumption of Flight Operations Following the Call-Off of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) Workers’ Strike.

Following the call-off of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) workers’ strike this morning, our teams are proactively working through the flight backlog to restore normal operations.

Customers should expect some delays as we work to restore our flight schedule. We anticipate resuming normal operations by Wednesday, 2 September 2026.

Affected passengers will receive flight status notifications directly via SMS, WhatsApp and email, using the contact details provided in their booking.

To ensure you receive the latest updates on your flight, please update your contact details through Manage My Booking.

Passengers whose flights are directly affected by the disruption may be eligible for the following rebooking and refund options:

 

1. Rebookings

  • Affected passengers may change their travel date, including to a later date beyond the current disruption period, providing flexibility while operations return to normal.
  • Change and no-show penalties will be waived.
  • If the destination is changed, any applicable fare difference will apply.
  • Changes must be made on or before 20 September 2026.

Refunds

Affected passengers may request a refund as follows:

  • Wholly unused tickets: Full refund.
  • Partially used tickets: Refund of the unused portion, less the prorated value of the journey already travelled.
  • Refund penalties will be waived.
  • Refund requests must be submitted on or before 20 September 2026.
