The city is one of the fastest-growing cities in the world, hence perking the interest of tourists. Gaborone is rich in traditional arts and crafts and has wonderful, diverse nature, which is the highlight and main tourist attraction.

    Where to Go When Visiting Gaborone.

    With the abundance of flora and fauna found in and around Gaborone it’s no surprise that there are Nature and Game reserves aplenty. Mokolodi Nature reserve should be first on your list, with camping, the beautiful sites and sounds of Botswana wildlife, accompanied by good guides and delicious food, it is an unforgettable experience. Other notable reserves and parks include Gaborone Game Reserve and the Khutse game reserve. All provide a unique special nature filled experience. A day trip could be made to the Gaborone Dam where, all can enjoy cold sundowners and wonderful cuisine as you soak up the beautiful scenery. 

    In and around town there are also wonderful Sights and Landmarks to explore. The three Chiefs will give you a greater insight into the history of Botswana and its independence. Or visit the beautiful ISKCON Gaborone temple. Take some time and traverse Kgale Hill for picturesque views of Gaborone and its environs You cannot miss out on the craft markets and museums that will keep you shopping till your hearts content.
