    If you want to see the animals of Uganda, but do not want to go on a safari, then this is the place for you. The Entebbe Zoo is set up in such a way that it does not actually feel like a zoo. The enclosures are natural and all sorts of species of African animals can be viewed. It is best to get to the Zoo early before the animals hide away from the hot African sun.

    Entebbe Botanical Gardens

    The large abundant trees of the Entebbe Botanical Gardens make a great habitat for Vervet & Colobus Monkeys. Botanists will really enjoy this area, as will bird watchers, with many different species of Ugandan birds on show.
