Kool Flyers Terms and Conditions

Kool Flyers students’ tickets can only be made through Kenya Airways ticketing offices or selected appointed travel agents by the Airline
For one to purchase a Kool Flyer students’ ticket and get to enjoy the benefits, you must be a registered member within the required age limit of 5–30 years, and a student with a valid student’s ID or a letter of acceptance from school/university.
A valid Kool Flyer member must register by filling in the registration form online and through our ticketing offices by providing a valid students’ ID, Birth certificate, or Passport and make a one-off payment of USD30 or equivalent in the local currency through any Kenya Airways office nearest to you.
Only one accompanying parent/guardian may be allowed to enjoy similar benefits as their Kool Flyer when they are accompanying them and must have been registered when the Kool Flyer was registering.
The ticket rules governing the purchased students’ ticket also form part of these terms and conditions.
A Kool Flyer club member will only be allowed to be a member for a maximum of 6 years, this can be renewed following approvals from Kenya Airways offices and updated documentation.
The additional extra piece of baggage allowance will be offered to only registered members and proof of membership maybe required. Kindly provide proof of registration upon request by the Kenya Airways staff.
A Kool Flyer member may enroll in the Asante Reward's loyalty program to earn and accrue miles based on the Asante Reward's loyalty program and their terms and conditions for earning and accruing miles shall apply.
Refunds after purchase of a student's ticket will be subject to the fare rules governing the ticket. The normal refund process will take effect.
During a disruption, we shall endeavor to give you priority in the rebooking process and put you on the first available flight. In the event we are not able to do so, we shall advise and see how best we can assist.
In the event that Kenya Airways cancels a flight and re-accommodates you to another flight, all Kool Flyer benefits on the original booking may be transferred to the new flight(s) operated by Kenya Airways.
In the event your booking is transferred to a flight operated by another airline, we cannot guarantee the extra piece of baggage offered to you.
Once you receive your membership card, always provide at the check-in counter whenever you travel for identification purposes.
Kenya Airways reserves the right to modify and otherwise change these Terms and Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Except as provided for in the preceding sentence, no amendment, modification or waiver to these Terms and Conditions shall be binding on Kenya Airways unless made in writing and signed by an authorized officer of Kenya Airways. These modifications or changes shall not impact material provisions of the Terms and Conditions, nor the tickets that have already been purchased.
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire and only understanding between the parties and replace any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) relating to the subject matter hereof. Kenya Airways shall not archive nor make accessible the contract entered with you.
The failure of Kenya Airways to exercise any of its rights shall not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of the future performance of any of its rights, and your obligations with respect to such future performance shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.
These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with Kenya Airways' Conditions of Carriage, Website Terms of Use, and the Privacy Policy, which you can read on Kenya Airways’ website.
