    Kenya Airways seeks and works with local partners to support an array of activities in diverse communities it operates in. Kenya Airways has distinguished itself in the amount of support that it lends to sports development in Kenya. The airline’s sports sponsorship portfolio, borne out of an acknowledgement of the need to harness the rich sporting talent in the country, boasts of Rugby, Athletics and Motorsports.
    The airline recognizes the unique role that sports play in shaping the identity of the Kenyan nation and thus takes pride in support of its development in the country. Kenya Airways hosts the East Africa Safari Rally Classic. The rally has over the years attracted visitors from all over the world to take part in the exciting event and take advantage of the fabulous safari holiday options along the route. The whole event was about 3,331 kilometres (2,070 miles) long, spread over a period of nine days in both in Kenya and Tanzania.
    Kenya Airways was also the title the sponsor of the Kenya national 7s team from 2010 to November 2016 and was instrumental in growing the sport in Kenya. During the sponsorship, KQ saw the team achieve two finalist positions in the series and a series high of 99 points in the 2012-2013 series ranking finishing in the fifth place globally. The team won a main cup in the Singapore WRS 7s leg in April 2016; qualified for the Olympics and Collins Injera was named the world’s leading try scorer during the partnership. The national carrier will continue offering attractive fares and holiday deals, through KQ holidays, to key WRS 7s destinations.
    Kenya Airways also hosts the Kenya Airways Golf Safari tournament, a golf tour in several countries with the grand finale held in Kenya, which contributes towards the development of golf across Africa and beyond. In addition to this, we have also provided a platform to showcase the various golf tourism opportunities available across the various destinations that we fly to and, in particular, in African continent
    Kenya Airways plays a vital role in creating vital linkages between Kenya and the international market, on which tourism and other key sectors depend and thrive.  With the access we have to most African destinations and beyond, we are a partner of choice for tourism marketers and conference facilities. Our airline is poised to be beneficial to these industries especially in Africa and we have indeed signed several partnership agreements in this regard. We partner with the tourism sector players both locally and internationally as must not only enhance our attractiveness as the preferred tourist destination in all of our traditional tourist markets but must also seek to position Kenya as the tourists’ choice on the continent to every potential visitor.

      • Politically sensitive or controversial matters
      • Properties with other airlines involved
      • Properties that encompass a violent or dangerous nature (such as extreme sports, Boxing, UFC etc.)
      • School-affiliated orchestras, bands, choirs, drama groups, yearbooks, class parties or class or team projects.
      • Content featuring an airlines crisis ( e.g. a crash or hijacking)
      • Content featuring traumatic violence
      • Content that impacts negatively on our brand
      • Private individuals seeking sponsorship in the form of free tickets or excess baggage.
      • An event which is due to commence within 2 months.
