SkyPriority will reduce check in and transfer time,
assuring customers of convenience

30, 2012….Loyal customers of Kenya Airways can now enjoy more convenience
when travelling following the launch of the SkyPriority service across the
airline’s network. SkyPriority is a
series of distinctively branded priority airport services offered to Elite
Plus, First and Business Class customers
The new service launched
this morning offers eligible customers valuable benefits such as priority
access to facilities and services such as check in, boarding and baggage
handling as well as immigration control at various airports.
Speaking during the launch
of the service, Kenya Airways Chief Operating Officer Mbuvi Ngunze said the
service was yet another service enhancement initiative by the airline and its
partners in the SkyTeam Alliance.
“SkyPriority is about
delivering quality experience to our high value customers. The essence of this
initiative by SkyTeam is to create a differentiating experience from other
alliances by enhancing convenience,” said Ngunze.
Customers not only enjoy
convenience but also reduced time during - pre, transfer, and post flight-. The
service will be implemented in two phases starting this month with the
airline’s hub in Nairobi and Kenya Airways regional destinations namely,
Mombasa, Malindi, Dar es Salaam, Entebbe and Kisumu.
The second phase will kick
off in July to end in November and will cover the rest of the airline’s global
destinations including the rest of Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Far
East, and Europe. Kenya Airways currently flies to 57 destinations the latest
being New Delhi which was launched earlier this month.
Kenya Airways is a
member of the SkyTeam Alliance, a global partnership of sixteen airlines.
Ngunze added that
Sky Priority was designed with the time-conscious globe-trotter in mind. “This
service offers an exciting experience for the discerning traveler with a keen
sense of quality service,” he concludes.
