CHECKED BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE PIECE CONCEPT

Dimensions:

1. Premier Class passengers are allowed three pieces of 23 kg (50lbs) each whose three dimensions shall not exceed a total of 158 cm (62 inches) (L+W+H) for each bag.

2. Economy class passengers are allowed two pieces whose total dimensions shall not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) (L+W+H) for each bag.

3. For ease of handling, the maximum weight of each piece of baggage shall not exceed 32 Kg (70 lbs).

4. Heavy tag must be used for pieces more than 23 kg.

For tickets issued under the Weight Concept, the excess baggage charges under the Weight Concept will remain applicable.

Exceptions:

Passengers arriving from wide body aircraft and connecting narrow body aircraft may have some of their baggage delayed due to weight restrictions

Maximum pieces/weight per person on wide body aircraft

Maximum 10 pieces per person per flight where piece concept applies or 300 kg where weight concept applies. If exceeding, advance arrangement with carrier must be made prior to departure.

Maximum weight per person on narrow body aircraft

Maximum 100 kg where weight concept applies; if exceeding advance arrangement with carrier must be made prior to departure.
